as wat ppl say, 'there's always a first time for everything'
last sat, my frens(LRS) and i went out for hari raya visits. on the way to my dad's house in taman jurong, i got into a road accident.. that was my first time meeting with a bike accident..
the story goes like this.. the whole group of us, were riding along a straight road.. there was a junction on our left.. by right, we should go straight.. but one of our riders, did a jam brake, cause he thought we are turning left.. during his jam brake, i knocked into him.. my bike flew around 5 to 8 metres and i follow suit.. to add to the ingredients of the accident, i rolled further.. luckily no cars behind me.. initially, i didn't feel as much pain as i thought i should.. i'm grateful to my fellow frens who helped me up, pushed my bike to the side of the road and making sure that i'm safe.. since i didn't feel the real pain, i continued riding my bike to my dad's house..
the next day was the UMPH!! when i woke up, i realise that i can't lift my left arm.. when i tried to, it felt so painful.. my mother-in-law did some massage..but she didn't dare to massage further cause the area around my collar bone was swollen.. she was afraid that my bone might be fractured.. so i called my dad to send me to TTSH.. i went for x-ray.. luckily no bones were fractured. the doc gave me 1 week of mc.. so here i am, doing nothing for the 5th day of my mc.
anyway i cant do much work with only my right hand working.. now at least i can lift a bit of my arm but can still feel the pain..

this friday will be my last day in Dieppe Barracks, sembawang Rd.. i've been working there for 2yrs plus.. ive been thru a lot of hardship as well as enjoyment there.. my wish of staying as platoon Sgt is GONE!! all because i can't get an IPPT guards gold.. life is so unfair!! but what the hack.. i'll just carry on what i'm supposed to do in other unit, hopefully to be known and able to come back to the formation..
life is so competitive.. once you drop/tone down/slack a bit, ppl can see and down the drain you'll go.. not considering your other strengths.. i've also learnt to be at the RIGHT place, RIGHT time- and you can get the credits you needed..
for the next two yrs, i'll be in tekong, as a sispec instructor.. so damn pissed off.. luckily by dec, shifting to pasir laba.. but whateve it is, just giving my 101% in my work

arlo everybodi... almost two weeks since i updated my blog.. sorri.. been busy lately..
11th mono intake 1st Battallion Singapore Guards has ended on the 14th Aug.. today was one of the happiest moment of their lives when they received their ICs back.. their faces seems happy and sad together.. happy cause its all over.. no more duties, no more 'chong sua'. sad cause they know they will miss the crazy times they had together the past two yrs.. some of them even cried after the ORD parade.. this shows how strong their bonding are.. now they have to wait for their reservist for everybody to get together and recap back the old good times..
As for me.. a tour has ended, and now waiting for my next posting.. dun even noe where i'm going to.. just because of the IPPT gold that i've been trying to get.. it's ok.. life's full of competition.. Best Man Wins..

today was my first gig ever.. whew! glad its over.. there were around 5 bands playing.. BUT they are all DAMN experienced..so no point comparing.. we were generally nervous.. the other bands playing are all rock bands except us.. but what the hack.. we just played our own style.. we were hoping the crowd won't be bored but they reacted alright.. obviously we made mistakes but important thing is we learn from them and improve ourselves.. it's a great experience playing together for the first time together.. i guess we are good individually but as band, we need to improve on that..
my wifey came back especially to see us play.. aaawwwww!!! so touched.. can't wait for her to finish her semester so that our band will be complete.. its so empty without her..
i'll post up the pics soon as the camera's with my wife now, in penang..

what a week!!! been sick for 4days.. coughing n sneezing n coughing n sneezing.. can't stand it.. worse got hockey match tomorrow.. against 3DIV.. it's a match to win.. if lose, can pack up and go back to CAMP!!! Darn!!
did nothing much last weekend.. sat went jamming with YUNIX then go town for dinner.. later at night went to handle-bar AGAIN!!.. those who read this, i advice you to go for my gig.. hehehe.. nak support lah katakan.. fyi tix cost 10 bucks inclusive of first drink.. but don't know what kind of drink lah..
k lah time to eat my medicine and later gong to akademi seni's training..

arlo pple out there.. guess what??!! my CHARLIE company got the BEST company for the 2nd workyear..looks like our hardwork and all the f@$#ing and nagging by our CSM paid off. anyway i just came back from work.. its been quite sometime since i go back to my camp due to hockey commitments.. still got 1 more week of tournament coming.. hope we'll make it to the final..
next week is my FIRST EVER gig.. don't know how it'll feel.. been training hard for the past 1 month plus.. it's on sunday @ full moon beach bar.. unfortunately.. have to pay to go in $15.. the gig is a tribute to SWEET CHARITY.. so its an honour to be able to play.. there are several experienced and famous group there so got feel a bit paiseh lah..(what the hack!! asri??? paiseh???) so who wanna go can make yourself free on that day..

today is damned boring.. dah lah tak kerja, nothing to do pulak tu.. apa lagik.. zzzzZZZZ one whole day..
i noe its a bit late to write bout this.. bout the result for SI ANAK SENI on sun, we have to learn and analyse what went wrong and why it went wrong.. even though i wasn't there i heard a lot of negative things bout us.. forfet bout it and MOVE ON!! i was simply annoyed when my bros moktar and asim said that they heard its all because of rajis that ANAK drop.. BULLSHIT!! we have to respect his decision and look at the bigger pic.. now we can scout for talent internally in terms of voicing and song writing.. no need to solely rely on him.. i hope anak can be a better grp w/o him..no point holding grudges against him..

yo yo yo.. last night was an unforgettable one at Handle-bar at Eden hotel, JB.. i shook hands and even made some conversation with some of the great musicians in SIngapore.. Rosli and Rahman.. Sweet Charity's lead guitarist an drummer respectively.. we talked like we known one another for some time.. they even gave me and my lead guitarist useful and constructive advice.. everything went great last night but there's something that was amiss.. the vocalist is a well known, talented , good looking and has superb vocal control.. but he drinks like nobody's business.. one pint after another.. haiz.. so disappointing. at least the old timers like rosli and rahman should be given some respect.
but whatever it is, the songs they played were amazingly hypnotizing.. from old school rock to peter pan kinda songs.. just cant get enuf of it.. guess i'll be going there again next week with my band members.. those who wanna go come down to handle-bar, Eden Garden, at Stulang.. around 10pm will be great.. c ya

Speaking of the DEVIL!!
it was just yesterday i wrote bout missing my wife..then last night, coincidentally i was in jb, she called and said she wanna follow.. thought she was joking.. but it came out to be true.. she's reacing the JB checkpoint.. so without hesitation, i rushed thru the jam to fetch her.. dah macam schumacher(ceh!! cam betul je..) i saw her walking towards me.. apa lagi.. i parked my car, and walk towards her too.. dah macam filem hindustan.. in my mind, "dapat lah aku malam nie. hehehehe"
but too bad she's going back again tomorrow night. kering lagik..it's alright.. PATIENCE GO A LONG WAY

it's been 2 weeks since we were apart.. but feels like two years man.. for those who don't know, my sweeetie wiifey is in penang, west malaysia, studying.. she'll be there for about 5 months = 1 semester.. its a student exchange programme. but it ok.. thanks to Alexander Graham Bell, we're able to call each other..at least won't miss her so badly..(but still miss her lah)
Pros and cons she's overseas.. if she's around, i need not worry bout anything.. cause i know she'll be there if i need her.. from my clothes, room, breakfast, lunch, dinner to supper..everything handled with perfection.. NOW.... feel like the times when i was not married.. everything do myself... pity rite.. or serves me rite.. dunno lah..
But what i know is that i have a lot of responsibilities as a son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law and husband.. anyway, i'm very happy for what i have now.. JUST CANT WAIT FOR HER FIRST PAY DAY>>>>>
